The Chef

Executive Chef Akihiko Ida

Born in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture.
After training in Ginza and France, he went to Hotel Metropolitan Takasaki in 1997.
After cooking at a banquet, he has been the head chef of the restaurant "Brassley Laurier" since the hotel was renewed in 2009. Since 2018, he has been appointed as the head chef of Hotel Metropolitan Takasaki. We are particular about ingredients produced in Takasaki and Gunma prefecture, and we will wholeheartedly offer dishes to spread the deliciousness of ingredients that even the locals do not know.
